Open Enrollment Begins Monday, April 29th Through May 10th, 2024
It is now Open Enrollment for all LTI’s benefit plans, which includes the following.
Plans are effective as of May 1, 2024.
Continue to use your current insurance through April 30, 2024.
- Medical
- Dental
- Vision
- Accident Coverage
- Critical Illness Coverage
- Hospital Indemnity (new option)
- Short-Term Disability
- Long-Term Disability
- Voluntary Term Life Insurance
(Note: for the Voluntary Term Life and with the change in carrier, there will be a one-time only wavier of Evidence of Insurability up to a guaranteed issue of $190,000)

Paychex Flex
Please read the Letter To Employees as there have been several changes to the plans and weekly rates. Medical coverage will remain with Aetna-managed by Gravie. Vision and Dental coverage will change from United Health Care to Ameritas. The additional ancillary coverages with VOYA are transitioning to Symetra. If you are currently enrolled in plans with UHC and VOYA, you will automatically be moved to a similar plan(s) with Ameritas and Symetra.

Other important items:
- Enrollment in Benefits will take place through the Paychex Flex Benefits Admin portal. Please login to Paychex Flex and click on Benefits Administration. If you are not currently enrolled in Paychex Flex, please follow the instruction on the attached “Paychex Flex Registration and Benefits”.
- Please note, currently you cannot enroll through the Paychex Flex app for iPhone or Android – you must enroll from a computer.
- Please make sure you select the “REVIEW & FINALIZE” option, whether you add, remove, or make any changes. This will also give you a nice summary of what you have selected and the total weekly cost that you can save or print.
- NOTE – If you elect to waive benefits (not enroll), you still need to go into Paychex – Benefits Administration, do a quick review of the company paid benefits, scroll to the bottom, and select “REVIEW & FINALIZE”. By selecting the “REVIEW & FINALIZE” button, it will also prompt you to enter your Beneficiary Designations for the company paid life insurance policy that all employees are auto enrolled in after 90 days. It is important to review and update this information if necessary.
- If you are a NEW HIRE, still in your 90 day waiting period, please go ahead and enroll. Your benefits will start upon your 90th day.
