
Customer Success Specialist (CSS)
The CSS is an Account Manager role that reports to the VP of Sales whose job involves overseeing client accounts and acting as a liaison between the client and the company. The main objective is to deliver and maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring that their experience with LTI is first class. Secondly, a CSS ensures that the client is properly informed through preparation and delivery of service scorecards, monitoring logistics procedures for suggestions of improvement, and resolving any issue escalations that arise. Lastly, they are responsible for account penetration of existing accounts broadening the company’s service across the client’s organization. A successful CSS should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills to address clients’ concerns and facilitate their needs. They should be knowledgeable about the transportation industry and stay up to date with industry trends to leverage opportunities in the market. A CSS fosters long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and ultimately contributing to the company’s success. Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of service scorecards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to meet client needs.
- Update and resolve any issues that arise for client through escalation procedures
- Manage client onboarding and ensure contract compliance
- Identify and pursue opportunities for client growth.
- Analyze sales data and report on trends to support client strategies.
- Develop and execute effective sales actions to meet company goals.
- Stay up to date on industry news and market trends.
- Attend industry events and network with potential clients when appropriate
Qualifications:
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven customer service experience
- Familiarity with project and account management principles
- Experience with Salesforce and SaaS platforms
- Basic understanding of marketing and analysis skills
Education & Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred but having experience in logistics or the transportation industry can be just as valuable, if not more so.
As a CSS, you’ll be responsible for developing relationships with clients and understanding their shipping needs, which requires good communication and problem-solving skills. Experience in customer service or sales is a plus.
